1 / EARTHING DEVICES

1- and 3-phase earthing devices for indoor and outdoor switchgears, overhead lines, substations

All the equipment has undergone extremely stringent type tests and is tested and approved according to current standards.

A complete set of earthing equipment consists of:

Earthing devices (Line clamp, Earth clamp, Earthing cable),
Contact fitting
Operating pole and operating socket

By providing the necessary technical specifications details we design and manufacture the safest and the most reliable earthing device.

2 - LINE / EARTH CLAMPS

EN 61230, SS 428 91 01

The conducting parts of the clamps are designed using high quality materials such as aluminiumbronze, aluminium, copper or brass. The clamps are hardened and/or surface treated where appropriate. Stainless steel is mainly used for the other parts. Peak current factor is 2,5 x Ir (rated current), unless otherwise stated.

Clamps are avaiable in different sizes and with different spindles and handles.

3 - CONTACT FITTINGS

There is a wide range of contact fittings for application to tubes, bars, lines, frames etc

They are made for connection to conductors or to earth.

The conducting parts of the contact fittings are made of high-quality material like aluminium bronze, aluminium, copper and brass. The contact fittings are hardened and/or surface treated where appropriate. Stainless steel is mainly used for the other parts. Peak current factor is 2,5 x Ir (rated current), unless otherwise stated.

4 - INSULATED POLES

EN 61230, EN 61235, EN 61243-1, SS 428 91 10,
Insulating poles are available in fixed-, jointed- or telescopic design.

The insulating poles are made of glass fibre reinforced vinyl ester. This material has a very good electrical insulating quality and at the same time the relation between weight-strength and stiffness is excellent. A special method of manufacturing, which makes the surface plain, eliminates the risk of the glass fibre particles coming out of the pole, which otherwise may be inconvenient at use.

The poles are coloured throughout and do not need to be varnished.

The range includes operating poles, branch cutting poles, snow removal poles, measuring poles and cases.
